I'm Raphael, a designer based on Brazil. My path into UX wasn't exactly linear. I started with industrial design studies, then spent my early career in graphic design before discovering UX in 2015 while working on a Windows Phone app. It was one of those moments where everything clicked and I'd found what I wanted to do.
Since 2018, I've been working on digital products with local companies from fresh website builds to complex maintenance projects. This experience taught me how to balance business vision with real user needs, whether I'm working with a small team or collaborating across international organizations.
Last year, I joined a healthtech startup where I helped build tools for pharmacists and physicians and there's something especially rewarding about working on products that directly impact healthcare, knowing that good design decisions can make someone's workday easier or help them serve patients better.
Now I'm looking to take on new challenges in product design. I'm drawn to projects where thoughtful UX can solve real problems, whether that's streamlining complex workflows or making technology more accessible to the people who need it most.
